Frog in the pond

One great thing about the pond is all the wildlife it attracts. We usually have tadpoles and large frogs that find there way to the pond.

Hailey picks blueberries and makes pies

The one thing Hailey loves most about growing fresh fruit and vegetables in the yard is going out to pick and eat a snack. When the blueberry bush is full and ripe, we always pick them to make a special dessert. This year she wanted to learn to make pie. Grandma , Hailey, and I had a great time. We made 16 mini pies. The Hoyt family came over for pie and coffee. Hailey served them on a tray. Everyone thought the pies were delicious.
